The national anthem of Cambodia is called “Nokor Reach”,
which in Khmer is written: “នគររាជ”, meaning “Majestic Kingdom”.

The music was composed by F. Perruchot / J. Jekyll, and the lyrics were written by the monk Chuon Nath.

“Nokor Reach”, the Cambodian national anthem, was first adopted in 1941, then removed during the Khmer Rouge period.
It was officially restored by the Constitution of 1993, when Cambodia became a constitutional monarchy once again.
