For now, information remains limited, but everything is being gradually organized.

Travel Times

Boat Shuttles from Kampot

  • Kampot → Koh Rong Samloem: 90 minutes
  • Kampot → Koh Rong: 2 hours
  • Kampot → Koh Sdach: 3 hours

From Kep

Add approximately 1 extra hour.

Currently, there are no direct sea departures from Kep.

Transport from Kep to Kampot Tourist Port is done by road via bus or minibus.

Boarding & Piers

  • Kep: Pick-up point at VET office in Kep
  • Kampot: Kampot International Tourist Port
  • Koh Rong: Koh Touch Pier, Longset Pier
  • Koh Rong Samloem: Eden Pier, Sandy Pier
  • Koh Sdach: Koh Apikjun Pier, Mad Monkey Pier

Pick-up Service

  • Kampot: Free pick-up available at VET Bus Station
  • Kep: Passengers must arrive at the VET office 1 hour before departure

⚠️ Please ensure you arrive on time. Missed pick-ups are not refundable.

Children & Infants

  • Infants under 5 years: No ticket required (must sit on an adult’s lap)
  • Children 5 years and older: Full adult fare applies

Baggage Policy

  • Checked baggage: Maximum 30 kg per passenger
  • Hand luggage: One carry-on only
  • Excess baggage: Additional charges apply based on local delivery rates

Prohibited Items

Strictly forbidden on board:

  • Firearms
  • Narcotics
  • Smuggled or illegal goods
  • Dangerous, flammable or explosive items

Pets

Small pets under 6 kg are allowed in a proper cage or secured.

Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables.
Buva Sea Cambodia is not responsible for any loss or damage.

Ticket Policy

  • Tickets are non-refundable
  • Tickets can be exchanged for future trips
  • Exchanges must be made at least 12 hours before departure

Ticket Information

  • One-way and round-trip tickets available
  • Round-trip ticket holders must inform ticket agents of return plans
  • Agents are located in guesthouses and hotels in:
    • Koh Rong
    • Koh Rong Samloem
    • Koh Sdach

For return trips, inform your hotel receptionist at least 1 day in advance.

Schedules may be delayed due to weather conditions.
Such delays do not qualify for claims or compensation.

  • Price: $30
  • Boat capacity: 300 passengers
  • Frequency: 2 trips per day

Visa Information:

  • Vietnam: No visa required to visit Phu Quoc for up to 30 days (passport required).
  • Cambodia: Visa required to enter Cambodia.

🇰🇭 Kampot (Cambodia) → 🇹🇭 Trat (Thailand)

Travel time: 4 - 5 hours

Visa Information:

  • Thailand: 60 day Visa on Arrival (or e-visa).
  • Cambodia: Visa required to enter Cambodia.
